More than 300 million customers shop on Amazon, and every day customers search, buy, and review products sold by third-party sellers alongside products sold by Amazon. Since 2000, Amazon has provided this virtual shelf space to individuals and businesses of all sizes, helping them reach hundreds of millions of customers, build their brands, and grow their businesses. To date, these third-party products account for more than half of all units sold in our business. Expansion countries are currently ramping up their efforts and creating a dynamic and fast-paced environment in which they can operate.
Given the increasing complexity of today’s e-commerce and the growing opportunities, the Selling Partner 360 team is committed to unlocking the full potential of every Amazon selling partner. Our team provides top-notch strategic consulting with a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to help our partners achieve their goals. Our holistic service offering includes consulting on all facets of the Amazon Marketplace, including topics such as international expansion, portfolio optimization, fulfillment strategy, product presentation, promotional strategy, and brand building. Alongside this strategic support, we also help our partners address their most pressing operational challenges.
As a Marketplace Consultant, you will independently and strategically advise your own portfolio of selling partners. Your goal is to support partners in driving their business growth and program satisfaction by working backward from their individual goals and collaboratively developing a roadmap with your partners. Additionally, you will leverage your analytical expertise to proactively identify the untapped potential of each partner. You will also be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of partners for this new service. Finally, you will be responsible for launching this program in your country, which entails a significant degree of ambiguity and requires effective stakeholder management that coordinates various teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner Management: Simultaneously manage a portfolio of strategically relevant and complex partners in a dynamic setting, developing tailored strategies, establishing timelines for implementation, managing expectations, and serving as the primary point of contact.
• Business Analysis: Generate well-informed recommendations for your partners\‘ businesses and derive actionable insights by using a variety of analytical tools to interpret customer data.
• Consulting: Utilize your extensive Amazon knowledge to leverage our solutions for your partners\‘ goals. Advise your partners on the resulting opportunities and assess potential impacts on their business.
• Implementation Support: Be a competent sparring partner for your partners, assisting them in implementing strategic plans, answering ad-hoc questions, and helping them navigate specific challenges.
• Relationship Building: Gain the trust of each seller in your portfolio by working closely with them and delivering results. Use trust to build and maintain strong relationships with your stakeholders.
• Coaching: Take the time to inform each partner about Amazon\’s solutions and news to improve their understanding of selling on Amazon.
• Business Reviews: Prepare detailed analyses of your sellers\‘ performance and present them to facilitate optimal exchanges regarding business progress, current challenges, and strategic planning.
• Subject Matter Expert: Take responsibility for a specific topic within our service organization with the goal of supporting colleagues and developing processes/tools for the benefit of our internal and external stakeholders. This includes areas such as branding, Fulfillment by Amazon, hiring, tools, promotions & events, and much more.

About the team
We aim to accelerate long-term growth and improve Seller Experience (SX) and Customer Experience (CX) by offering Sellers the option to work with a dedicated account manager to receive tailored strategies and problem-solving support. We work closely with Sellers to drive innovation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Fluent in German and English.
– Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
– Several years of experience in Tier-Level consulting, Key Account Management, Sales in Advertising, B2B, digital retail/e-commerce, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
– Strong and proficient analytical skills for interpreting complex datasets with Microsoft Excel.
– Proven experience in strategy development and implementation, as well as a demonstrated ability to independently acquire, manage, and interact with clients, particularly at the executive level.
– Ability to multitask and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment, as well as excellent presentation skills to inform and influence at all levels of an organization, especially at the executive level.
– A passion for developing an engaging customer experience and the ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Expertise in working in a complex, cross-functional team environment (including tech, marketing, design, and merchandising teams), analyzing and managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating as needed.
– High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
– Strong business judgment, with a proven ability to persuade stakeholders and executives.
– Experience with CRM tools.
– Demonstrated creativity and initiative, coupled with the ability to constructively advocate for customers and find and successfully implement innovative solutions.
