As a Solution Architect specialising in Data & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our analytics platform and data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics Platform Development:
- Build on the foundation of our existing analytics platform to strategically expand its capabilities.
- Connect additional data sources, enhance the DataVault model, and design advanced analytics features, including PowerBI dashboards.
- Work towards replacing legacy systems (such as SAP BW), while unlocking previously unattainable analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with enterprise architecture to design and optimise the company-wide data landscape.
- Play a key role in integration projects and ensure alignment with regulatory compliance standards.
Data Quality Improvement:
- Utilise your methodological expertise to support the architecture team in setting standards and processes that enhance data quality across systems.
- Your efforts will drive more accurate analyses and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational systems.
- Develop tools and approaches that enable reliable and efficient provisioning of data for testing purposes.
What You Bring:
Professional Experience:
- Several years of hands-on experience as a solution architect, data engineer, or a similar role in data analytics, data warehousing, or data management.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of DataBricks and cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
- Experience in developing dashboards and analytical applications.
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of data architectures.
- A solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and how they apply in complex IT environments.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, combined with the ability to think strategically.
Language Skills:
- Good command of the German language, both spoken and written.
