What we do:

As Senior Manager, Retail Data Partnerships you will lead some of our most strategic retail data partners. Based in Hamburg, you will work with retailers to make their data available for audience and measurement while supporting advertisers in using that data.

This is part of The Trade Desk’s growing Retail Data strategy, which has seen explosive growth in the last 24 months and is a key strategic priority. This role is the bridge between data partners and the commercial teams, helping to lead our advertisers to success by using more data to make informed decisions on their media buying.

What you’ll do:

  • Active partner management (40%)
  • Lead day to day relationships with retailers with responsibility for flawlessly executing on data delivery and driving partnership revenue growth
  • Ensure retailers are set up for success and benefiting from all features available to them e.g. EUID identity, custom audience building tools
  • Act as first point of contact for the data partner and as first point of contact to TTD teams about that retailer
  • Activation support for TTD Customer Service team (50%)
  • Take a hands-on approach to support TTD commercial teams in using retail data on media campaigns including:
  • Audience request management, audience creation in the TTD platform, troubleshooting technical issues, support with campaign performance and reporting
  • Join sales meetings and help with brief responses on request of TTD commercial teams to present the retail data proposition
  • Cross-functional collaboration to ensure partner adoption and success (10%)
  • Collaboration with our broader data partnerships team in EMEA and globally to ensure alignment and to co-develop best practice
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on strategic initiatives for promoting data usage
  • Collaborate with Product Management on platform feature support
  • Collaborate with Technical Account Management to ensure flawless execution of partner integrations

Who you are:

  • Experience managing with 3rd party data partnerships, with a strong preference for retail data sets
  • 5+ years of experience doing this at a DSP, SSP, exchange, or other related ad technology platform
  • Key experience managing relationships with partners in the market; ensuring flawless execution and managing issues as they arise
  • Solid understanding of the 3p data media ecosystem including key performance metrics and common client objectives
  • Comfort with preparing and presenting in internal meetings and trainings
  • Comfort presenting to data partners (e.g. QBRs) and clients (e.g. “why you should use” retail data)
  • Comfort with technical topics e.g. API data transfers, identity matching, on-site tagging
  • Self-motivated problem-solver comfortable wearing multiple and diverse hats and working independently
  • Comfort and experience with Excel data analysis
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
