CBTC SYSTEM ENGINEER (M/F/X) – SENIOR
Business Center: Systems Engineering & Software Development
Locations: Berlin, Braunschweig, Leipzig and Stuttgart
YOUR CORE TASKS INCLUDE:
- Creation of technical architecture and design concepts for upcoming projects
- Proposal of alternative designs and presentation to internal and external stakeholders
- Creation of functional and operational descriptions of the CBTC system to be developed
- Creation of system requirements and/or review of requirements and interface specifications
- Review of subsystem requirements and specifications
- Support the V&V team with test specifications for the system/subsystem interfaces
- Support the integration and commissioning of systems in the field
- Leading technical meetings with stakeholders

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:
- A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or similar
- Several years of professional experience in signaling technology
- Familiarity with railroad signaling systems, function and architecture of the subsystems
- Knowledge of the relevant CENELEC standards
- Experience in the creation and review of technical documentation
- Experience in the development and certification of safety-relevant systems in the railroad environment is an advantage
- Open, flexible, team-oriented and goal-oriented personality
- Independent and proactive way of working as well as strong problem-solving skills
- Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
