System Engineer / Electrical Engineer for RAM and Functional Safety (M/F/X) – Senior

YOUR CORE TASKS INCLUDE:

• Strengthening existing project teams and, if necessary, training new or inexperienced team members
• Development of pioneering, safety-critical system solutions with a focus on the safety and reliability (RAM) of highly complex systems
• Concept development for and implementation of analyses such as FMEA, hazard analyses, or fault tree analyses
• Taking on a leading or coordinating role

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:

• Completed diploma or master’s degree in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, physics, other natural sciences, or comparable
• Initiative and excellent analytical skills
• Sound professional experience in the field of system or software development, ideally in the development of systems with security responsibility
• Interest in highly complex technical solutions in the field of railroad signaling technology (control and safety technology) or rail vehicle technology
• Knowledge of railroad operations and the products used there is an advantage
• Very good German and good written and spoken English skills

IDEALLY BEYOND THAT:

• Knowledge of approval procedures and relevant standards (EN 50 12X)
• ETCS knowledge and corresponding project experience
• Experience in RAMS management
• Knowledge of analysis methods (e.g., hazard analysis, FMEA, fault tree analysis)
