Job description:
- Neutronics design and optimisation analyses
- Model construction with CAD software (SpaceClaim) and conversion software (McCad, SuperMC) for Monte Carlo transport codes
- High-resolution 3D radiation transport simulations, neutronics calculations, inventory and activation analyses for fusion and accelerator applications
- Documentation, presentation and publication of results
- Development work on CAD-based simulation and analysis tools for radiation-induced processes
- Further development, maintenance and user support for tools developed in-house for Monte Carlo transport simulations and activation analyses
- Identification of innovative simulation approaches and definition and co-ordination of corresponding research work
