What you’ll do

• Work on the entire lifecycle of development projects, both customer specific and SAP-defined.
• Collaborate and work with teams spread across geographies and time zones.
• Be involved in various aspects of the data science process, including acquiring data, conducting exploratory data analysis, developing proof of concepts with state-of-the-art LLM models, and establishing their performance.
• Implement backlogs for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate and adopt generative AI-based solutions – either through external LLMs or fine-tuning Local LLMs, independently or with minimal support from experts.
• Deploy AI models into production systems and ensure scalability and reliability, independently or with minimal support from experts.
• Perform thorough testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and robustness, independently or with minimal support from experts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Gen AI, machine learning, mentor team members, and contribute to the team’s knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What you Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Good understanding of AI algorithms, ML, model evaluation, and validation techniques.
• Solid understanding of the mathematics related to data science – probability, statistics, linear algebra, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Specialist in Generative AI with excellent understanding of recent advances in Large Language Models.
• Proficient in any one area of AI/ML streams – Predictive analytics, Speech processing, Text Analytics/NLP, Computer Vision, Machine Translation, generative AI with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Implement recent algorithms and approaches for machine learning in collaboration with our Architects/Data scientists.
• Exposure to SAP modules along with prior experience in cloud technologies like BTP, AWS, GCP, etc., is desired.
• Adhere to SAP’s agile engineering practices and processes. Own your code from ideation to development, across the full stack and through QA and support.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
