As a central institution of TU Hamburg, the Computer Center provides the IT infrastructure and the necessary IT services for research and teaching. A very important service is the development, operation, and management of web services. In the department responsible for this task, we are looking for a committed full-stack web developer, ideally with a focus on frontend, to start as soon as possible.
YOUR TASKS
- Optimization and strategic further development and expansion of the TUHH intranet services using web technologies
- Conception, new and further development of web applications
- Planning and programming of interfaces for cross-system data transfers
- Independent collaboration in other IT projects
- Strategic technology evaluation and consulting
YOUR PROFILE
Employment Requirement
- University degree (Master’s or equivalent) in the field of computer science or a related STEM degree program or equivalent specialist knowledge to a university degree
Required Skills and Personal Abilities
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with programming and scripting languages, in particular PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Java, and shell scripting as well as databases
- Expertise in the design and implementation of complex IT projects, preferably with the use of microservice architectures and container technologies
- Independent, creative, and structured work as well as excellent communication and cooperation skills
- Willingness to secure and develop your own professional qualifications
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
