Location: Germany/Kreuztal | Sector: Levellers / Finishing Lines

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) Automation Technology for our Levellers/ Finishing Lines division with the following main tasks and requirements as soon as possible:

Your tasks

• Analysis and evaluation of our customers‘ production parameters (field data analysis)
• Derivation of optimization potential and development priorities for our units
• Expansion of the digitalization of individual GEORG core units
• Programming and commissioning of straightening technology in the factory and at the customer’s site
• Processing service orders remotely and on site at the customer’s premises
• Interface to the subsidiary GEORG Automation GmbH

Your profile

• Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, specializing in automation technology
• Good knowledge of PLC programming (TIA Portal, Symatic Manager systems) and drive systems (Siemens Sinamics, encoders, etc.)
• High-level language skills (C, Python, …) an advantage
• First relevant professional experience, preferably in high-end mechanical engineering, desirable
• Very good technical understanding and high analytical ability to solve complex tasks
• Independent, structured, reliable and detail-oriented way of working
