Erlangen – full-time
We are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) for simulator applications in the field of energy technology at the Erlangen location as soon as possible. The position is to be filled within the framework of a 35-hour week.
The following challenges await you as a Software Developer (m/f/d) Simulator Applications:
- Implementation of control and process engineering requirements in simulators
- Adaptation of project-specific TXS applications to customer-specific simulators
- Development of new simulator models for modernization projects
- Processing of quotation requests and preparation of quotation texts and calculations
- Carrying out commissioning of simulator applications at the customer’s premises
- Close coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and customer requirements
Your profile:
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science or a comparable field of study
- You have in-depth experience with the TXS Space Core software and the spacedb Python interface
- You have in-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and the use of virtual machines (VMware)
- You have practical user knowledge of Linux
- You are proficient in programming languages such as TCL, Bash scripts, Python, PyQT and C
- Ideally, you are also familiar with C compilers such as GCC and Visual Studio and have experience in creating and customizing makefiles
- A good command of English and fluent German round off your profile
