What You’ll Be Doing:

• Advising and representing clients in complex family law cases with professionalism and care.
• Engaging in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances.
• Providing mentorship and leadership within the team.
• Building strong client relationships, balancing professionalism with empathy.
• Drafting high-quality legal documents, including affidavits, parenting plans, and financial agreements.
• Strategically managing cases from inception to resolution.
• Collaborating with barristers and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Staying up to date with legislative changes and case law developments.
• Conducting initial consultations and providing clear, practical advice to clients.
• Contributing to business development initiatives, networking, and firm growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in family law.
• Post-graduate qualifications in family law or accredited specialist in family law are highly regarded.
• A strong ethical compass and a genuine commitment to helping families.
• Exceptional communication, drafting, and negotiation skills, even in challenging matters.
• The ability to manage high-conflict situations with calm and compassion.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for leadership and mentorship.
• Someone that doesn\’t take life too seriously and has a good sense of humour!
