As Director People & Culture DACH, you will drive the people agenda in your region, balancing strategic and operational human resources functions for a global organization in a mature market consisting of 5 business units with ~800 employees. Your team consists of 12 specialists in business partnering, learning & development, talent acquisition & employer branding, as well as people operations. The people operations team also supports the distribution organization with ~150 employees.

We are looking for an empathic, commercially driven, and modern leader with excellent stakeholder management skills to enable business growth with efficient services and solutions tailored to the business unit needs. The position is part of the DACH management team and the European People & Culture team, reporting to the Vice President DACH and the Senior Director People & Culture Europe. This is an exciting time to join as we have recently grown the people served by the People and Culture team in this region through the acquisition of Atos Medical and its integration into the Coloplast organization.

You will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the organizational needs to enable business growth via excellent people services and solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and business partner for senior business leaders, functioning as the expert on people and organizational issues.
  • Creating and executing people-related strategies tied to the business‘ strategies and needs, ensuring talent implications are effectively identified and addressed.
  • Championing the organization’s culture, driving an environment of engagement, open communication, and high ethical standards.
  • Providing day-to-day leadership, management, motivation, and development of the People & Culture team.
  • Bringing a senior People & Culture leadership background in commercial sales, services, and marketing organizations in a matrix setup; experience in the life science industry is a benefit.
  • Having a minimum of 10 years of HR experience in progressive HR roles.
  • Possessing HR experience in an environment with a worker council as a prerequisite.
  • Demonstrating a broad-based HR understanding, including a strong track record in talent and change management.
