Social Media Content Creator

Starting: March 10, 2025

Employment Type: Part-time, 8 hours/week (Mini-Job)

Contract Type: 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce engaging content for our social media platforms, including images, videos, and text
• Schedule and publish posts regularly, ensuring timely content aligned with school events, achievements, and initiatives in accordance with the social media calendar
• Work with school departments to highlight key events, initiatives, and accomplishments, ensuring content is shared before, during, and after events
• Coordinate with students, staff, and other departments to feature stories, success highlights, and special projects
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with followers to promote a positive and inclusive online community
• Maintain consistency in tone and messaging that reflects the school’s values and mission
• Track performance of social media posts, gather insights, and create reports to analyze engagement and reach, adjusting strategies as needed
• Stay up to date with current and emerging social media platforms, assess their relevance, and determine if introducing and integrating them would be beneficial

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in social media management or content creation is a plus (students with relevant skills are also welcome)
• A strong sense of creativity with an eye for design and storytelling
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.)
• Excellent written communication skills in German and English, with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Passion for promoting the school community and educational environment
