Quality Analyst - Web3 Applications (m/w/d)

We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with a passion for decentralised technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience testing Web3 decentralised applications (dApps), such as decentralised exchanges (DEXs), blockchain bridges, staking platforms, and other blockchain-based applications. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for Web3 applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.

• Perform end-to-end testing of blockchain-based dApps, including smart contract functionality, front-end interfaces, and back-end integrations.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand product requirements and identify potential risks or quality issues.

• Validate smart contract interactions and blockchain transactions across various networks (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon).

• Conduct thorough testing of specific Web3 functionalities, including trading on DEXs, bridging assets between blockchains, staking, and token minting.

• Perform API testing, ensuring proper communication between front-end and back-end services in a decentralized environment.

• Utilize automated and manual testing techniques to ensure compatibility across various devices, browsers, and wallet integrations (e.g., MetaMask, Ledger).

• Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and anomalies, working closely with the development team to resolve them.

• Monitor and test smart contract deployments for accuracy, gas optimization, and performance metrics.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in blockchain, dApps, and Web3.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or QA Engineer in the blockchain or Web3 space.

• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

• Hands-on experience testing Web3 applications like DEXs, bridges, staking platforms, and wallet integrations.

• Proficiency with Web3 development tools such as Remix, Hardhat, Truffle, or similar.

• Experience with testing tools like Postman, Selenium, Cypress, and blockchain explorers (e.g., Etherscan, BscScan).

• Familiarity with Web3.js, Ethers.js, and other blockchain-related libraries.

• Ability to write detailed, clear, and concise bug reports and documentation.

• Strong understanding of blockchain security risks and vulnerabilities, especially in smart contracts.

• Knowledge of gas optimization and transaction management on blockchain networks.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of multiple blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana, Binance, Cosmos).

• Familiarity with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and DeFi protocols.

• Understanding of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) and Layer-2 scaling solutions.

• Experience with smart contract auditing tools (e.g., MythX, Slither, ConsenSys Diligence).

• Previous experience in automating test cases for Web3 applications.
