What you’ll do
- Drive product innovation and guide all stages of software development, including user story development and epic creation support for the specification of requirements for the solution design.
- Conduct customer research together with the Head of Product Management understanding business and end-user needs.
- Participate in sprint planning to determine the team’s objectives for the upcoming sprint.
- Manage the product backlog, creating and overseeing Jira tickets and other workflow tools for efficient development processes.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to shape the product roadmap, incorporating input from various stakeholders.
- Lead sprint review meetings, presenting sprint outcomes to key stakeholders and gathering valuable feedback.
- Work closely with the development team to define acceptance criteria and establish criteria for task completion.
- Set and manage expectations with business stakeholders, ensuring a focused and distraction-free environment for the software engineering team.
- Craft user-friendly product descriptions and structures, contributing content for technical writers and supporting content management efforts.
- Ensure technical product enablement for various teams, including technical consulting, implementation, IT operations, and support.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a product owner role, (technical) product manager role or technical consulting role.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a related product area preferred, e.g. messaging, email, supply chain, or IDP.
- Background in the large enterprises segment preferred.
- Technical talent with strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead meetings and present to stakeholders.
- Business fluent in English, German preferred.
