Senior IT System Administrator (all genders)

Your Role

You build together with us a best-in-class IT infrastructure engine across multiple entities and departments. This position is ideal if you are looking for a high-intensity environment with outsized exposure to top management. You will take over ownership to create an innovative IT environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Acting as a main point of contact for all IT related matters in the Berlin office
2. Configuring internal systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues
3. Supervising and cooperating with the Operations team to achieve best practice
4. Administration and supporting core Microsoft O365, Google Workspace and other SaaS applications
5. Designing and implementing monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will create a hands-off environment
6. Defining and documenting best practices and support procedures in IT SOPs
7. Maintaining inventory and asset configuration documentation
8. Monitoring the performance of software and hardware
9. Ensuring the smooth deployment of new starters
10. Mentoring and guiding the IT team

YOUR PROFILE

To succeed in this role you:

1. Have relevant IT experience in fast-growing start-ups, min. 3+ years
2. Have a thorough knowledge of computer maintenance (MacOS, Windows) and related processes (backups, license management, setup of new machines, network troubleshooting etc.)
3. Have strong experience with Mobile Device Management, especially MS Endpoint Management & MS Intune
4. Have strong experience with Azure AD & SSO integrations and deployment
5. Have a working style that can be described as well-structured and organized
6. Have a hands-on mindset, detail-oriented and analytical personality with a high affinity for technical systems
7. Have a service-oriented mindset and outstanding communication skills in English; German is a plus
