Our Client:
A leading global manufacturer and developer operating right across the renewables sector with a pipeline of Onshore Solar PV, Wind and energy storage projects. They are building a team of enthusiastic professionals who have a passion for adding their value into driving the energy transformation. Due to significant success in global markets, they have created the need to recruit a Senior Project Developer to support the continued growth of the business.
The Role:
As Senior Project Developer you will lead throughout the full project development lifecycle and business development activities across a range of technologies in this broad and dynamic role.
Some duties would include:
- Drive the growth of the development of early-stage projects by actively managing and coordinating all elements, including acquisition, planning, construction, and legal aspects.
- Negotiating contracts with internal and external bodies including grid operators, landowners, utilities etc.
- Being accountable for progress reports that support your decision making in accordance with agreed timeframes, schedules and budgets.
- Manage key stakeholder negotiations, including landowners and utility companies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term strategic plans.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years in renewable energy project development, although other backgrounds will also be considered e.g. real estate, agriculture.
- Use your network and expertise to bring in new project opportunities.
- Be the single point of contact for your team and clients during project implementation.
- Speak German to C1 level or higher.
