To strengthen our IT infrastructure team at the Sundern site, we are now looking for a
IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
- Responsible for the operational and strategic management and further development of our IT system infrastructure (hardware and software).
- Ensure the functionality of our existing system landscape and actively work on its optimization as part of our digitization strategy.
- Independently implement and manage various IT projects, supervise external service providers, monitor compliance with defined project milestones, and initiate corrective measures in the event of target/actual deviations.
- Responsible for risk management and claim management.
- Ensure that the company\’s IT systems and processes run smoothly and complement the 2nd & 3rd level support team with your extensive knowledge.
- Create and optimize emergency plans, IT security concepts, and technical documentation to ensure sustainable IT security and transparency.
- Profile based on training as an IT specialist for system integration and several years of professional experience in the field of IT infrastructure or as an IT consultant.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, applications, and virtualization technologies (VMware), ideally also in the field of network technology (Cisco, Meraki).
- Strong understanding of IT security, troubleshooting, and optimization of complex systems.
- Ability to actively tackle and drive IT topics forward with strong technological understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Communicative, innovative thinker willing to question old structures and develop new ones.
- Analytical and conceptual way of thinking and working, paired with a high level of tenacity in finding solutions for complex systems.
- Good command of written and spoken English for the IT connection of our international locations.
