A fast-growing renewable energy company operating in the UK, US, and Germany. With a global pipeline of 10 GW, they are on a mission to develop 2 GW of renewable energy projects in Germany by 2026. Due to their significant success in global markets, they have created the need to recruit a Senior Project Developer to support the continued growth of the business.
The role:
As Senior Project Developer you will lead throughout the full project development lifecycle and business development activities.
Some duties would include:
- Assess the feasibility of potential projects.
- Collaborate with local communities, public authorities and municipals, to present project benefits, environmental impacts, and technologies.
- Dive into project details and ensure smooth communication between all parties involved.
- Work closely with grid networks, municipalities, and external partners to secure permits.
- Manage key stakeholder negotiations, including landowners and utility companies.
- Lead the advancement of 40+ ongoing projects, driving them from preliminary applications to execution.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have:
- An entrepreneurial mindset.
- A team player who demonstrates strong strategic thinking and a hands-on approach who is able to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience in PV or BESS development with a solid understanding of how project development works.
- Fluent in German and English to engage with local authorities and international teams effectively.
