The role

  • As a Market Unit Head, you’ll be actively engaged in networking in the industrial market across the entire region, with in-depth knowledge of the German market.
  • You’ll orchestrate our client executives, translate the market strategy for Germany into actionable tactics for specific territories (BY, NRW, BW), and demonstrate strong determination and commitment to lead the development of our client portfolio in the discrete high-tech manufacturing sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Translate the market strategy for Germany into actionable plans for specific territories (BY, NRW, BW), and demonstrate strong determination and commitment to lead the high-tech manufacturing market development in Germany.
  • Work closely with client executives to identify business opportunities at new and existing clients, generate leads and opportunities with local clients and increase long-term revenue.
  • Represent Zühlke at industry events, conferences and on stage as a market leader and a strong brand ambassador.
  • Support client engagement by maintaining a visible and proactive role in key client relationships, understanding client needs, and helping to deliver solutions that meet market demands.
  • Support technology leaders (e.g., in achieving the revenue targets, in the preparation and presentation of larger sales bids and stakeholder management).

What’s important to us

  • You hold an appropriate education in Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You bring over 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a strong record in client acquisition and relationship management, preferably in the technology or professional services industry (ideally in discrete high-tech manufacturing including machinery, devices, and equipment engineering).
  • You have demonstrated experience in generating leads and opportunities and closing large business opportunities on an international level.
  • You bring a strong network in the industrial market and know current needs from senior executives.
  • You are fluent in German and English (C1 level).
  • You are highly customer-oriented, and you take a hands-on and proactive approach.
