Team mission
Our mission in the Traveler group is to connect travelers with experiences that ignite their passions. We are responsible for the core consumer experience in the marketplace and support multiple company-level initiatives and goals. We take pride in ownership and collaboration in line with our company principles. We start by deeply understanding our customers‘ needs and building towards a vision that helps millions of travelers worldwide find experiences. As part of this team, you will drive 0-1 launches of new products to support GetYourGuide’s growth into new segments and markets.
This is a full-time role at our Berlin office in a newly funded team. As Senior Product Manager, you will report to the Director of Product and drive growth.
You will:
- Ownership : You are skilled at laying out your team’s strategy, setting goals, and then following through, owning the outcomes of your team’s work.
- Ambiguity : Ambiguity around you does not stop you from being clear and achieving your goals.
- Communication : You demonstrate a clear and structured approach to communicating. You are able to connect your team’s strategy to the company’s mission and break down your team’s strategy into clear next steps.
- Prioritization : You use your data skills and customer empathy to weigh competing initiatives, make clear decisions on priority, focus your team’s execution and continually re-evaluate your roadmap and strategy based on what you learn.
- Collaboration : You are skilled at building trust with many stakeholders and empowering them by giving clear expectations and aligning them with your team’s roadmap.
- Experimentation : You use experimentation to evaluate your team’s investment, leveraging your data skills to evaluate results and determine the next steps.
Who you are
- 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment such as product management, strategy consulting or entrepreneurship
- Demonstrated ownership over a product or business outcomes in a previous role, including responsibilities for strategy, KPI setup, goal-setting and roadmap
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to think through problems in a structured manner
- Experience in launching large zero-to-one products with complex cross-team dependencies is preferred
- Experience in industries related to travel, experiences, or marketplaces is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
