How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Achieve/exceed sales, marketing, and financial goals for the Food Science product portfolio in your territory.
- Drive business initiatives to grow sales and profitability aligned with team goals.
- Focus on direct customers, managing day-to-day sales activities in Northern Germany.
- Collaborate with the Field Application Specialists team to provide technical expertise in the Food Science Business.
- Develop sales strategies to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, moving key opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Review sales performance with management quarterly.
- Negotiate prices within agreed guidelines.
- Follow company sales processes and utilize sales resources efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date customer and sales information in the CRM system.
- Build an external industry network and represent Bio-Rad as an expert.
What You Bring:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Microbiology or Chemistry relevant to the role.
- Work Experience: 3+ years of relevant sales experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food science industry, with a demonstrated record of success. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of Food Microbiology Testing applications and technologies.
- Proficiency in professional English (reading, writing, speaking) for meetings, reports, presentations, and technical documents.
- Based in North of Germany.
