We are currently hiring an IT Business Analyst (f/m/d) for our Wealth Management Technology team, with experience in pre-sales, onboarding and after-sales web applications in Asset Management used by retail clients and financial agents of our distribution partners, with a strong focus on retail-market-level portfolio building.
The position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in the optimization, harmonization and further global build-out of our Digital Investment Management service offering.
In addition to becoming part of our Wealth Management Technology team and reporting to the team head in this role, you will automatically join an open-minded, business and tech combining team committed to make “simplicity at scale” happen. We are working in a product-based setup with an agile delivery method.
In this cross-functional team we are passionate about putting AllianzGI’s unique knowledge to our distribution partners with the means of state-of-the-art technology (e.g. cloud-based services).
This position will be based in Frankfurt.
What you will do
- Partner with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to identify and propose solutions for business needs
- Ensure fit of the proposed solutions with both the business requirements and the group / corporate governance and standards
- Coordinate and prepare functional and non-functional requirements specifications jointly with the product owner, translate them into epics and stories for the product backlog
- Create conceptual specifications and application design documents for your area of responsibility, based on user requirements
- Interact with architects, integrators, and developers to ensure the technical specifications meet the requirements
- Support production rollouts through communication and coordination with the responsible departments and suppliers
- Regularly align with Infrastructure Operations and Production Services to facilitate knowledge transfer and smooth production operations
- Manage external software vendors and internal clients
What you bring
- Business analysis experience in major IT projects, including but not limited to building business cases, requirement analysis, solution proposal, test planning and coordination, and delivery of associated documentations
- Proven strong analytical skills and client focus
- Ability to promote ideas and concepts with various stakeholders, from business departments to IT management
- Ability to describe complex systems and processes clearly and succinctly, in a way that is understandable for business users, colleagues, and implementation partners spread around the globe
- Strong vendor communication and management skills
- Experience in Distribution/Sales related digital ecosystems, with a focus on digital customer journeys, data aggregation & advanced analytics
- Recent industry experience outside financial services, combined with an interest in financial services and the desire to introduce best practices from other industries into the specific requirements of a financial services institution
- Proven strong wealth management expertise with MiFID, WpHG requirements for digital application
- Relevant degree or similar qualification, e.g. in the fields of economics, engineering, MINT
- Experience working in agile projects (e.g. SCRUM)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience and knowledge in project management is a plus
