Automation Engineer – Stuttgart Germany – 12+ Month Contract
Position Overview:
I am currently looking for an experienced Automation Engineer who is interested in working for one of the leading companies in the Biopharmaceutical sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hard-working team and work on a new, long-term project in the biotech sector.

Type: Contract (12+ Months)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and Program TIA PLCs
- Test automated techniques to ensure they complete the assigned tasks
- Design and test automation equipment and processes
- Ensure all systems are installed meeting the company’s requirements
- Identify quality issues and write reports
- Execute FAT/SAT in collaboration with other engineering departments
- Participate in the development of automated system life cycle documents (ERES, Preventative Maintenance Instructions, SOPs)
- Work to eliminate defects and errors within the product and in the software development
- Resolve issues by working closely with the global IT support team
Requirements:
- Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry under GMP requirements
- Familiarity with equipment process control systems is required (in particular TIA/S7)
- Knowledge of system integration with Active Directory and automated backup systems
- Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
- Fluent in German is a must
