ABOUT THE ROLE
In July 2024, the Berlin Forum will be organized and implemented by Common Goal. The Forum will bring together global leaders in football for good to advance our collective efforts to maximise football’s contribution to people and planet. The Forum will take place from the 8th to the 10th of July in the build-up to the UEFA EURO 2024 ️ Final in Berlin.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to be part of a small team of experts and actively contribute to shaping the legacy of UEFA EURO 2024 ️. As an intern with us, you will be playing an important role in the day-to-day organization of The Berlin Forum 2024. Collaborating closely with the Community team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the forum’s success by assisting with various tasks. Additionally, you will have the chance to interact with diverse organisations, particularly within the football/sports sector, throughout your internship.
YOUR TASKS
- Support managing participants: This includes communication with attendees, managing RSVPs, coordinating attendance logistics and ensuring a smooth experience for all participants
- Assist with speaker coordination: Work closely with the team to support speakers throughout the forum. Collect necessary information, coordinate schedules and provide assistance as needed to ensure a seamless presentation
- On-site Support: Provide on-site support during the forum, including participant guidance and troubleshooting any logistical issues that may arise to maintain the event’s smooth operation
- Feedback collection: Gather feedback from forum attendees to understand their needs and satisfaction levels. Support in creating presentations: Assist in the creation of decks and presentations for current members and prospects.
YOUR PROFILE
- You are a matriculated university student
- You are available for 3 to 4 months for a full-time internship position. Ideally from the beginning of April to end of July
- You are based or willing to relocate to Berlin
- You are fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of German, Portuguese and French are a plus
- You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- You possess initial experience in event management and handling guests and speakers and/or you have a strong willingness to quickly acquire expertise in these areas
- You love to get things done, thrive on challenging the status-quo and have a genuine passion for our cause
- You are a great team player who enjoys taking responsibility and working in a diverse, culturally rich and inclusive workplace
