Responsibilities
- Implement web-based eCommerce applications using SAP Commerce
- Utilize Java and Spring to build and maintain application features
- Collaborate with teams of engineers, software developers, and architects
- Design, plan, develop, refactor, test, and deliver new features
- Perform peer code reviews and provide suggestions for fixes and improvements
- Develop and maintain unit tests as part of the software development process
- Interact with product owners and product management teams to review and implement proposed designs
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Experience in software development with backend development programming languages, particularly Java (Python nice to have)
- Extensive experience working with best practice software development design patterns
- Web-based application development experience using the Spring framework, Java, and JSP
- Experience working with SAP Commerce (nice to have) or any other eCommerce platform based on Spring and Java
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Good communication skills in English
- Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter
