The Senior Product Security Engineer will be working with our client Tradebyte, the leading integrator for brands and marketplaces, driving success in e-commerce.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and competent Senior Product Security Engineer to join our security and infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

1. You are responsible for the support and further development of our security infrastructure (SIEM, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management, AWS WAF, etc.)
2. You are responsible for the assessment and processing of security incidents.
3. You are responsible for consulting on security-related issues in the context of product development.
4. You do the planning and implementing engineering awareness measures.
5. You act as a coordinator for security incidents and support the Incident Response Team in investigating them.

Requirements

1. You have already gained professional experience of 3 – 5 years in similar jobs.
2. You have knowledge of threats that need to be addressed in web applications.
3. You have strong skills in pen-testing.
4. You have experience in common technologies for protecting web applications (WAF, SIEM, IDS/IPS, DDoS, etc.).
5. You also have DevOps experience and are familiar with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Git.
6. You are experienced in the usage of cloud infrastructures (e.g., AWS).
7. You would describe yourself as assertive, focused, conscientious, and process-oriented.
8. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
