What you’ll do
- Developing custom automation solutions for the high-tech industry will be a key responsibility.
- Solutions for production control, process monitoring, and equipment integration will need to be adapted, enhanced, and integrated into existing systems.
- Another aspect of the role involves configuring and developing user interfaces, along with creating reporting solutions based on customer requirements.
- Leading the entire development cycle starting from specification, design, implementation, testing, and commissioning.
- Developing architectural and design decisions that shape our software solutions.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the software applications developed by providing ongoing support and maintenance.
- In collaboration with the Head of BU MES Solutions, technical management leadership of the development team will be performed.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Several years of project experience in analyzing customer requirements, as well as experience as software architect and technical project manager
- In-depth knowledge of development with C# / .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and common development environments as well as CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of design, software architectures, and object-oriented analysis
- Expertise in both system and production equipment integration
- High-quality awareness, excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and German
- Analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset
Nice to have:- Experience with relational database systems, particularly MS SQL Server
- Knowledge in MES solutions and computer-integrated manufacturing
- Understanding of container virtualization and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
