As a Principal (m/f/d) Car Sales Architecture, you will lead and be responsible for strategically relevant topics and products from a technical point of view. You will have an overview of the strategic orientation of your department, keep an eye on market-related trends, drive topics based on them across the board, and empower your employees in this regard.

In your role, you will act as a source of inspiration in the field of architecture and actively promote the exchange of knowledge within the team, across the department, and within Mercedes-Benz Group AG.

You will analyze our current IT landscape and the business processes of the car sales domain and develop a strategic roadmap for future IT solutions and architectures.

Ensuring the associated integration of our products into Enterprise Architecture Management and its specifications is also part of your area of responsibility.

You will improve the application of strategic measures in our products and ensure transparency about their impact.

You will work closely with stakeholders at different levels and organizational units to align and drive our vision forward.

To modernize our system landscape, you will design and implement projects in close cooperation with business and IT, proactively communicate potentials and improvements, and measure the success of strategic initiatives based on data.

Your Profile

You have many years of relevant experience in the field of software development in the enterprise environment, as well as in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and/or a similar technical leadership role.

You can share with us your previous practical successes with regard to enterprise architecture transformations and modernizations in a technologically heterogeneous environment.

You are an absolute expert in traditional and modern enterprise architecture practices as well as in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Your excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels, especially at the interface between business and IT, set you apart.

You have a pronounced sociability in the context of business partnering, making it easy for you to build a personal network within Mercedes-Benz Group AG, and you can act in a team-oriented manner and at eye level within this ecosystem.

You are characterized by a high degree of flexibility, assertiveness, resilience, and commitment.

Fluent in German and English is a prerequisite.
