To carry out guarding duties at guard sites in accordance with Certis Standing Orders and site instructions, in compliance with AS4421-1996 and all relevant State and/or Federal legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incident investigations in a timely manner and ensure that Security Incident Reports are completed and submitted.
- Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the implementation of emergency procedures.
- Promote and encourage a team approach.
- Provide a customer service approach and maintain a fair, courteous and respectful manner in dealing with clients and customers.
- Provide a high-quality security service at client locations.
- Provide protection to the public by ensuring COVID social distancing is maintained.
- Provide security escorts as required.
- Report and record security breaches and incidents.
- Respond promptly to incidents.
- Take a problem-solving approach to conflict situations and recognize the need to escalate situations to the manager/supervisor for attention as appropriate.
Qualification
What You Bring to the Table:
- A current Security Licence and Cert II in Security Operations.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Strong communication skills in both writing and conversation.
- Flexibility with wide availability, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
