WHAT WE OFFER YOU

In your new role, you will work in Leverkusen’s Speciality Films (SF) department. As a leading manufacturer of high-quality technical speciality films based on photopolymers, we support our customers with innovative and tailor-made solutions for a wide range of holographic optical applications.

• During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work on a project in the laboratory under supervision for 3-6 months.
• During this time you will work on new application forms of photopolymers for holographic applications. You will be supervised by our team. The test specimens you produce will then be tested for quality and performance in holographic applications using recognised methods.
• Close co-operation with the analytical departments and your interpretation of the analysis results is also planned
• Documenting your results and presenting them to colleagues and project partners is also part of this internship to gain initial experience in the field
• You will familiarise yourself with the processes in an industrial environment and also gain exciting insights into areas of the company that go beyond your laboratory area.
• There is the possibility of writing a Master’s thesis as part of this internship

WHAT YOU OFFER US

• You are studying chemical engineering, polymer chemistry or chemistry and are currently enrolled in a corresponding Master’s programme.
• You are curious and open to unfamiliar questions.
• You take a systematic approach, develop hypotheses and can plan, carry out and analyse experiments confidently and independently.
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken German and English.
