My client is an innovative company developing safe, sustainable energy solutions. It is seeking a skilled Lead Civil Engineer to support the development of a cutting-edge ADS project. The role involves managing design activities, collaborating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Define design objectives, technical requirements, and deliverables for civil engineering activities.
- Develop specifications for key structures (e.g., accelerator and reactor buildings).
- Oversee nuclear and non-nuclear infrastructure to ensure operational safety and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and validate work packages for contractors.
- Ensure integration of facility systems and compliance with quality, safety, and nuclear regulations (e.g., IAEA, US-NRC).
- Apply nuclear design codes (ACI 349, ASCE 7, Eurocodes) for structural safety.
- Interface with licensing authorities and contribute to safety documentation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in large-scale infrastructure projects (nuclear experience preferred).
- Knowledge of nuclear codes, safety standards, and regulations.
