The BDC Digital Thread is an innovative data platform designed to empower scientists and end users with self-service insights. This platform aggregates data from GxP source systems, including GLIMS, MES, and SAP, as well as GrP source systems like Biovia and Tetrascience. It brings the capability to merge data from R&D with data from manufacturing, while offering the ability to clearly identify the nature of the data to maintain data integrity rules.
Utilizing a robust data stack, the platform features an integration and staging layer built on AWS services. Data harmonization and contextualization are achieved in the semantic layer, adhering to W3C and OWL standards. This architecture enables seamless data access for consumers, facilitating the use of various analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining the validation strategy of this solution and establishing the related key validation documents.
- Establishment of validation package.
- Deviation management.
- Working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the validation strategy aligns with the overall goals of the digital thread project.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- 5-10 years of practical experience in data validation and systems integration.
- Data Integrity awareness and related regulations.
- Experience in the biotech industry is considered advantageous.
- Proficiency in data management tools and software are essential.
- Effective communication with stakeholders.
- Capability to identify effective solutions to address data validation challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based data architectures.
- Familiarity with GxP and GrP source systems.
- Knowledge of data harmonization and contextualization techniques.
