About the team you are joining

Working within the Information Security team in the Information & Data (I&D) division, this role will report to the Senior Cloud Security Architect. You will primarily focus on improving the security architecture of the IATA Information Technology environment. You will be responsible for the design, review and architecture of all IATA technologies and solutions.

What your day would be like

1. Design, build and implement enterprise-class security solutions for a production environment.
2. Support projects and solutions in design (both from vendors and customers side).
3. Design AWS cloud security solution in conjunction with IATA enterprise architects, support team and 3rd party development teams.
4. Design security architecture to mitigate threats as they emerge.
5. Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements.
6. Implement cloud security solution and proof of concept environments to aid in rapid innovation.
7. Present to AI Technical Boards and Architecture Review Boards on solutions developed by I&D technical teams.
8. Create cloud migration designs and migrating environments by working closely with Cloud Engineers in the Operations team.
9. Continuously monitor and resolve security architecture issues.

We would love to hear from you if

1. Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Cybersecurity.
2. 5 plus years’ experience as a Security Architect and/or Engineering.
3. Knowledge of ISO 27001:2022 / PCI-DSS / SOC2 / NIST.
4. Good communication skills with diverse audiences.
5. Ability to provide solutions and propose alternatives.
6. Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, information security programs and technology projects.
