DWS global trading team is responsible for the execution process as a key component in implementing investment decisions. The team operates in three hubs EMEA, US and APAC.

For the EMEA region we are looking for an intern who will support the team based in Frankfurt.

Aufgabenbereiche

As our DWS Intern you will:  

You will be responsible for the support of executing trades and trading strategies across the whole range of products ensuring to deliver best execution to our clients

Based on the instrument type and risk involved you will systematically support the implementation of the optimal execution strategy across execution channels and liquidity pools

Support analyzing pre- and post-trade data

Collaborate with all stakeholders of the trading team, support, and control functions

Gewünschte Qualifikationen

We are looking for:

Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quantitative analysis and technology

Experienced in using programming languages (ideally: Python, SQL, JavaScript) is a benefit

Affinity for statistical computer languages to analyze and clean data, draw insights from large data sets and visualize these

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and resilience in a fast-paced and high-performance environment

You are enrolled in your penultimate or last year of study, or on a gap year in between your Bachelor and Master’s degree

You need to be available for between 3-6 months. There are flexible intakes available – Spring, Summer and Autumn
