What you’ll do & Who you are

Our platform team in Berlin Charlottenburg (mobile.de) is looking for a Technical Product Manager (d/f/m) as a hybrid workplace role. You will define and drive the product vision and roadmap for shared capabilities and services that are integral to the success of Product & Technology, reporting directly to our Head of Platform.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate complex needs into clear, relevant technical requirements. By prioritizing the development backlog, you will balance the delivery of immediate solutions with the pursuit of long-term strategic objectives. As the primary contact for product teams, you will ensure seamless adoption and integration of central services, ensuring efficiency and consistency across the organization. Through continuous monitoring of product performance and gathering feedback, you will identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Additionally, you will advocate for customer and business needs, ensuring that all initiatives align with the broader technical strategy.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with the technical and strategic goals of the organization.
  2. Team up with engineers and architects to define and refine requirements.
  3. Facilitate cross-team alignment with other product and platform teams to ensure cohesive service adoption.
  4. Define and track KPIs for central capabilities, ensuring measurable impact on efficiency and scalability.
  5. Manage stakeholder communication, providing updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
  6. Advocate for usability, reliability, and performance in all central solutions delivered by the team.

Who You Are:

  1. Strong understanding of technical concepts, including cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), observability tools (Grafana).
  2. Proven experience in managing technical products or platforms with multiple stakeholders.
  3. Familiarity with programming and infrastructure tools (e.g., Java, Terraform, Helm) is a strong plus.
  4. 3+ years of relevant experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Experience with backlog prioritization, requirement gathering, and roadmap planning.
  6. Fluent in English (German is a bonus).
