Job Description
Are you a Trade Marketing expert with a knack for crafting strategic marketing plans in collaboration with partners? Based near Munich and excited to travel across Germany to connect with key accounts and premium partners? Join our team as the next Shopper Marketing Specialist !
Act as the primary marketing contact for local Key Accounts, Premium Partners, and HQ Retail, driving shopper marketing excellence and retail activations.
Your missions:
- Customer Engagement: Present seasonal marketing programs and collaborate with sales teams to develop joint customer plans, including co-op campaigns.
- Shopper Journey Optimization: Analyze and enhance the shopper journey to boost conversion rates.
- Marketing Plans: Define, implement, and track seasonal Joint Marketing Plans and 360 activation campaigns with a focus on online presence.
- Execution: Deliver product and brand assets to retail partners, oversee shopper marketing programs, and manage branded spaces and campaigns.
- Digital Integration: Align with digital teams to activate click-and-brick accounts.
- Retail Initiatives: Coordinate store openings, promotional actions, and visual merchandising programs.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, digital ROI, and provide actionable reports to local and EMEA leadership.
- Collaboration: Share best practices within the EMEA community and provide feedback to HQ.
Qualifications
- Required Skills:
- 3-5 years shopper/trade marketing experience in leading branded consumer goods in FMCG or leading Sporting Goods.
- Experience in working directly with accounts and sports industry experience are a plus.
- Relevant education in university and/or business school course work, Bachelor or Master degree in Business with focus on marketing preferred.
- Understanding of wholesale and own retail business.
- Understanding of consumer/shopper behavior.
- Manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.
- Budget planning and tracking, vendor management.
- Experience of being customer facing and delivering customers plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of brand, marketing & shopper concepts.
- Understanding and analyzing of trade marketing KPIs.
- Foreign languages: Fluent in English, proficiency in German mandatory.
- Computer skills: Command of Microsoft Office, graphic/design programs are a plus.
- Qualifications:
- Customer Focus: Advocate for customer, negotiation.
- Communication: Active listener to customer and sales force. Clear communicator due to several stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work with external/internal stakeholders.

Job located in Garching, Germany.
Driving licence – You will be asked to travel around Germany to meet with our key account and premium partners.
