To support our Commercial team in Bremen, we are looking for a

Proposal Manager / Bid Manager / Proposal Coordinator (m/f/d)

Fugro Germany Marine GmbH is a leading international service provider in the field of offshore surveying. As the world\’s leading geodata specialist, we provide a wide range of services for the collection, processing and visualisation of geodata and their analysis, interpretation and evaluation on our projects. The Bremen office specialises in global offshore projects: Cable routes for intercontinental telecommunication projects, planning for offshore wind farms, munitions detection (UXO) and hydrography. With over 130 employees in Bremen, we are part of the Fugro Group, which is represented in 57 countries worldwide.

Your role

  • Independent analysis of tender documents for offshore surveys and related services.
  • Planning of offshore geophysical survey projects and development of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Close liaison with colleagues in the technical, project management and business development departments during the proposal preparation and project phase.
  • Close support and advice for customers even before the start of the tender phase through to successful project completion.
  • Efficient networking with customers, within the company group and with third-party providers during the tender preparation phase.
  • Documentation in the company\’s own CRM software and maintenance of the associated database.

Your track record

  • You hold at least a BSc. degree in the fields of geology, geosciences, surveying/geodesy, hydrography, industrial engineering (renewable energies), business administration or comparable degree programme, also career starters or motivated career changers with good technical understanding in the field of offshore surveying are welcome.
  • Independent, highly organised and responsible way of working with good time management skills.
  • High willingness to learn, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
  • Substantial knowledge of marine geophysical survey methods such as Multibeam Echosounder, Side Scan Sonar, Sub Bottom Profiler, Seismic, UXO is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • First relevant practical experience in the development of technical and commercial proposals is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience in customer support is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
  • Very good written and verbal English skills.
  • Willingness to travel to a limited extent.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel and Word.
