ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Marketing Intern, you will be working within our Regional Marketing Commercialization Marketing Team based in Rolle, responsible for brand portfolio management, brand P&L, regional strategies and priorities, innovation delivery, toolkit creation or amplification, and ensuring best in class execution of programs for our brands, such as Duck, Mr Muscle, Pronto, Shout, Glade, Autan, Raid, Mrs. Meyers, Ecover, etc., to meet business objectives in terms of sales, profit, and market share. Our Marketing Commercialization Team is organized by Category and responsible for the performance of our Brands in Europe, which is a great opportunity to understand different marketplaces as well as retail structures.
The role has exposure to the whole business with project opportunities that will have you working cross-functionally. You will have the opportunity not just to understand the Marketing function and the part it plays but also have exposure to the other functions and take time to understand the retailers we serve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the Profit & Loss (topline and profitability) for the assigned segment/platform.
- Supporting Digital activation execution, including Social Media campaigns, working with external agencies, following on results, and recommending best practice.
- Collecting qualitative and quantitative data (market data, consumer research, internal sales) to support strategies and decisions.
- Managing Market Data Reporting: develop report/interpret and analyze existing data, focusing on the major KPIs.
- Collecting and preparing data, presentations, materials, and props for sales meetings with an overview for off-line and on-line customers.
- Supporting brand managers in creating logistic data for new products, approving product artworks, and providing translations.
- Assisting team cross-functionally with project work as and when required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:
- BSc or MSc Degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Sales or similar.
- Fluent in English, and ideally another European language in addition to your home country one.
- Strong interest in an international career.
- Mobile, after the internship, in one (or more) of our key local country locations such as UK, Germany, France, and Italy. Mid and long term: willing to have an international career.
