The applicant (m/f/d) should represent the field of Visual Computing in research and teaching. The aim is to attract a high-profile academic and to strengthen the facultyâs potential for third-party funding. The following areas of specialization are advantageous:
- Real-time Physics Simulation (e.g. GPU-based Fluid Dynamics)
- Efficient Data-driven Physics Simulation/Surrogate Models
- Data-driven 3D-Reconstruction or Graphical Asset Generation
- Efficient Visualization and Animation
The Institute of Computer Science and the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (CAIDAS) at the University of WĂŒrzburg offer good opportunities for joint research.
