We are looking for a fully qualified lawyer (m / f / d) with above-average qualifications and relevant professional experience to join the Legal department of Allianz Global Investors, a globally active asset manager, in Frankfurt am Main.
Your role will be interdisciplinary, providing legal guidance to the business and infrastructure departments on German and European matters related to IT law, data protection, and contract law.
What you will do
- Advising our business and infrastructure units on the development and roll-out of new digital services including drafting and negotiating complex MSAs, software, cloud-services and data license agreements.
- Providing legal advice on international projects (e.g. cooperations with partners in the FinTech space or major outsourcing projects) as well as on upcoming German and European legislation and technical or regulatory developments.
- Advising on IT and IT security-specific regulatory issues (e.g. DORA, AI Act).
- Drafting and revising contractual templates in the field of IT.
- Providing legal advice on GDPR relevant issues.
- Managing legal tech and legal operations initiatives.
What you bring
- Fully qualified lawyer with excellent exams.
- Relevant professional experience in a top-tier law firm or an international company.
- Very good command of written and spoken English for business purposes that has already been applied in a professional context.
- Knowledge of IT law and interest in Data Protection and regulatory matters.
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly in both oral and written form.
- Excellent analytical skills, problem solving attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Independent, thorough, structured and target-oriented approach to work; initiative, good communications skills and team spirit.
- Ability to express complex issues succinctly and clearly to colleagues with no legal background.
- Flexibility and commitment.
- Interest in and readiness to engage with legal tech and legal operations topics.
