Brand Proactive Risk Manager, Selling Partner Abuse, Proactive Brand Risk Protection
DESCRIPTION

To continue building customer trust, the Selling Partner Brand Incident team works with sellers, brands, vendors, and customers to identify and prevent infringement of intellectual property (e.g., copyright, trademark, counterfeit) and other abuse in our product catalog.
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to investigate complex incidents of suspected infringement of intellectual property and other product abuse. You will work closely with external partners such as brands and sellers and implement policies, tools, and technology innovations to protect customers, defend intellectual property, protect brands, and ensure compliance with Amazon policies.
You will partner with numerous teams at Amazon, including Brand Registry, Product Safety, Perfect Order Experience, Selling Partner Performance, Retail, and Seller Services. You will interact with Amazon leadership on complex investigations and improve the way Amazon protects customers from product abuse.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Investigate complex incidents of suspected infringement of intellectual property and product abuse.
– Collaborate with external partners, brands, and sellers.
– Implement policies, tools, and technology innovations for brand protection.
– Partner with various Amazon teams to enhance customer protection.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
– Experience handling confidential information
– Extensive experience in process improvement methodologies and techniques, including:
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Proficient in utilizing tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
- Gemba Walks: Skilled in conducting on-site observations to identify inefficiencies.
- Lean Six Sigma: Well-versed in applying DMAIC methodology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
– Experience with SQL and Excel
– Experience in program requirements definition and data metrics for improvements
– Fluency in English; proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is a plus.
