Our client is a Hamburg-based private equity firm with €1bn in assets under management , investing in mid-sized companies across the DACH region . With a focus on healthcare, digitalization, and sustainability , the firm partners with entrepreneurs to provide long-term capital and strategic support, fostering sustainable growth and impact. The team consists of 15 to 20 professionals , operating in a highly collaborative and hands-on environment.

The Opportunity:

The firm is seeking an Investment Manager to join its Hamburg office , playing a key role in sourcing, executing, and managing investments. This is an opportunity to take on significant responsibility in a dynamic team, working closely with senior leadership and portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead deal sourcing, due diligence, and execution of new investments.
• Develop financial models, valuations, and investment memoranda to support decision-making.
• Drive value creation initiatives within portfolio companies, collaborating with management teams.
• Oversee transaction structuring and negotiation processes.
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of direct private equity investment experience , ideally in the mid-market.
• Strong transaction execution skills , including due diligence, structuring, and financial modeling.
• Deep understanding of the DACH mid-market landscape , with a network in the region.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to value creation.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
