European Private Equity Executive Search Associate @ Hayes&Partners
H&P is working with an established lower-mid cap tech PE firm, looking for an Associate to join its Hamburg Team. They’ll be taking part in the whole deal lifecycle and acquisitions for the firm’s portfolio companies. This role offers junior investment professionals exposure to buyout equity, live deal participation and direct engagement with entrepreneurs.
Role Overview:
- Source and identify potential investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment, for prospective deals.
- Assist in executing investments, including negotiations, term sheet structuring, and deal-closing processes.
- Support portfolio companies post-investment with strategic advice, operational assistance, and growth initiatives.
- Prepare investment memos and present opportunities to senior leadership while providing regular updates on portfolio performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
- 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or M&A.
- Strong interest in the Tech/SaaS investing space.
- Self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- German native.
- Strong ties to Hamburg.
