What you will enjoy doing

• In this role, you will update the company-wide compliance policies and their IT applications, which are part of the Global Compliance Program. This includes collaborating with Linde’s regions and divisions for local implementation as needed.
• You will be responsible for the global implementation of Linde’s service provider due diligence tool, working in conjunction with colleagues from regional compliance, legal, business, and IT departments
• You will collaborate with the data privacy team to enhance the data privacy program continuously and implement data privacy applications. This includes working with Linde’s regions and divisions on local implementation as required
• You will gather data and perform both internal and external benchmarking to guarantee that Linde’s Compliance Program and IT solutions continue to be best-in-class
• Further, you will implement IT applications and tools for our top-tier Compliance program
• You will develop IT solutions and provide support for conducting regulatory and compliance risk assessments in collaboration with Compliance and Internal Audit colleagues
• Also will support the Chief Compliance Officer in special initiatives and projects

What makes you great

• You possess a background in both legal and IT fields and have accrued several years of experience within the legal or compliance sectors, including substantial experience in a multinational corporate setting
• As a digital native, you have a passion for IT tools and applications, especially when it comes to integrating them within legal, compliance, and data privacy frameworks
• You are solution-oriented, a quick learner, and a team player
• Additionally, you exhibit a robust can-do attitude and enjoy thinking creatively and outside the box to foster innovation
• You possess change management skills and have experience in project management, as well as the international implementation of IT systems, including basic knowledge of Scrum, Design Thinking, or other agile methodologies
• You possess strong analytical abilities, logical thinking, excellent judgment, and the capacity to evaluate risks
• Moreover, you demonstrate exceptional motivation and initiative, along with the utmost integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness
• You possess the ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential matters, as well as the capacity to adopt and uphold unpopular positions
• Your proficiency in both written and spoken English is exceptional; proficiency in German or any other language is also appreciated
