NUS Consulting Group is a global energy management and sustainability consultancy that delivers solutions to energy-intensive organizations worldwide. We have been operating and providing services in Germany since 1965.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for computational analysis and energy markets to join us as an Energy Analyst.

This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting energy-related data on consumption, production, and efficiency. The insights and recommendations derived from this data analysis are vital in supporting organisations in optimising their energy use, cutting expenses, and lessening environmental impact. Moreover, this position will be responsible for developing price models and tools relating to various energy pricing structures.

This position works both with our domestic German consulting team and our international project teams to provide services to clients. Accordingly, the candidate must speak not only fluent German but also English.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in energy engineering, environmental science, mathematics, computation analysis or a related field with at least two years of work experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and model development.
  • Knowledge of the most common programming languages and tools to develop supporting tools for data analysis (Python, C/C+, PowerBI, SQL, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

This is a full-time position. NUS offers qualified candidates a competitive compensation package, including annual performance bonuses and other benefits.
