Legal Counsel - IT, Software & Data Law

We are seeking a Legal Counsel specialising in IT, software, and data law to provide expert legal guidance on digital services, data rights, and platform economy regulations. This role involves contract negotiation, legal consulting, and policy development while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on IT law matters, including data rights, digital services, and platform regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to software, data, and software-based services.
• Provide legal support to internal departments and business units.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and legal standards for IT law.
• Conduct training sessions for legal and business teams on IT-related legal topics.
• Support negotiations with customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-border legal teams, particularly within the global Technology Practice Group.

Your Profile:

• Fully qualified lawyer (Second State Examination) with strong academic credentials.
• Several years of experience in IT, software, and data law, ideally in an international setting.
• Strong contract negotiation and advisory skills.
• Ability to analyse complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach with strong communication and negotiation skills.
