Laboratory IT Consultant (m/w/d)
Consult scientific business partners in all aspects related to the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance, and effective business use of IT systems and lab instruments.
- Lead discussions with lab instrument and software suppliers.
- Coordinate with other technology partners to define a solid architecture and ensure proper integration with other systems, data storage, compliance, and security controls.
- Manage external service providers or contractors involved in Lab IT tasks, projects, or services.
- Collaborate with the Business Relationship Manager and Solution Architects to drive process improvements and IT solutions across the lab environment.
- Maintain knowledge of existing lab instruments and technologies, leveraging this knowledge to support solution roadmaps.
- Identify solutions, assess feasibility, and make recommendations, exploring new or existing IT solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technology requirements and oversee their fulfillment during projects.
- Coordinate activities related to routine maintenance, problem resolution, inventory management, deployment, and post-implementation support for computing devices.
