As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts from a revenue, product, and renewal perspective. Your key objective is to establish and maintain strong client relationships, from the initial onboarding phase through to negotiating renewals.
In this role, you will be tasked with driving the retention and profitable growth of revenue within your assigned customer accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact, providing expert advice to your clients through phone calls and meetings. You will collaborate closely with our dedicated Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing teams to ensure that clients are well-served and have access to our complete product offerings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support to existing accounts
- Conduct sales research and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling with current clients
- Analyze market and customer potential to reduce the risk of account termination
- Manage contracts, deliverables, and deadlines for renewals and upselling/cross-selling activities
- Prepare and conduct customer meetings and product demonstrations independently
- Serve as a trusted advisor and the first point of contact for client inquiries
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Completed studies with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in a sales role, specifically focused on existing customers or new business
- Strong interest in Account Management with a focus on upselling SaaS products and fostering client engagement
- Ability to adapt to challenges, overcome objections, and grasp complex solutions
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Prior experience in the media industry is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and German are required
