SAP Transportation Management Team Lead

Global retailer seeking experienced SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) Settlement professional.

Your Role:

• Develop, support, and optimize country-specific and international transport management systems (e.g., SAP TM).
• Manage demand, incident, and problem backlogs effectively.
• Report and track project performance and system stability improvements.
• Enhance user experience and drive product adoption through documentation and training.
• Maintain a transparent product backlog and manage release planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement feedback.
• Ensure compliance with quality and risk management measures.
• Manage product budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Act as a key interface between IT teams and external service providers.
• Lead a team of 4-5 people, distribute work effectively, and ensure SLAs are met.
• Handle incident and problem management, track SLAs via ServiceNow, and ensure high-priority incidents are resolved on time.

Your Profile:

• 7+ years of professional experience with SAP, particularly in settlement processes for inbound and outbound freight agreements.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end freight invoicing processes across all transport modes.
• Experience with Collaboration Portal and collaboration apps for freight forwarders.
• Understanding of business process integration, including SAP MM and goods receipt settlement.
• Expertise in freight agreement management and cost calculation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct complex error analyses.
• Proven experience in managing tasks and responsibilities within a team.
• Debugging knowledge is a strong plus.
• Degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of IT operations methodologies and software testing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently without micromanagement and escalate relevant issues proactively.
• Fluent in English with a willingness to travel.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with S/4HANA ERP systems.
• ITIL certification.
• Hybrid working model: 1-2 days required onsite.
